Real Techniques E-Commerce Website
The Challenge
Paris Presents provides high-quality cosmetic tools that appeal to two very different audiences through their brands EcoTools and Real Techniques. Both brands were running on an outdated CMS and website payment system putting pressure on mobile sales and stagnant average order volume (AOV).
The Process
As Associate Creative Director, I led UX research, content strategy, and design team through a robust audit of key competitors' web experiences, allowing for discussion around the strategic pillars that would be harnessed for an e-commerce relaunch. Research focus areas included a competitive review, landscape audit, and existing website audit.
This led us to develop high-fidelity wireframes to communicate critical flows and define the project's scope and tech specs. This allowed us to make the proper CMS selection with the technology and client requirements in mind.
The Solution
In building a robust e-commerce site, I instituted the use of style tiles with the design team to improve design communication across client, internal, and vendor teams and to make global style decisions in-line with the brands.
The Results
The result is a highly functional e-commerce site with international shipping, improved suggestions, and increased AOV.
